    Please join us in marking the 51st Anniversary of the Diamond Valley Parade and celebrate it's history! This year's parade theme is "Celebrating Western Heritage".

  2. Please upload proof of insurance in order to complete your registration. If you aren't able to upload the information at this time, it can be sent in with your waiver form, which will be sent to you upon completing this registration.

    Parade Line-up Information:

    Place: Oilfields Regional Arena
    611 3rd St SW, Black Diamond
    Date: Saturday, June 1, 2019
    Time: Line-Up begins at 8:30 am

    Parade starts at 10:00 am SHARP

    Completed Registration forms should be submitted by May 13, 2019 @ 4 pm.

    Persons participate in the Diamond Valley Parade at their own risk. The Town of Black Diamond is not responsible for the actions of parade participants.

    Marshalling will take place at the Oilfields Regional Arena. Parking will NOT be permitted at the arena. To avoid traffic jams and parking issues, we encourage all participants to carpool.

    • All parade entries should be in place by 9:00 am.
    • All entries must remain in their original line-up order throughout the parade.
    • Entries with sound must indicate so in the Sound section of the Entry Form.
    • For safety reasons, novelties and candies MUST NOT BE THROWN from floats. They may, however, be passed out by hand.
    • If sports equipment is used in the entry, please only use soft foam balls.
    • Persons riding in vehicles or floats must remain seated, or be provided with and use handrails or other devices which secure them from falling.
    • Please leave water pistols, water balloons, super-soakers at home.
    • Entrants must maintain control of participants, vehicles, and animals at all times.
    • Parade participants must follow the direction of parade personnel in the assembly area and/or along the route regarding placement, pace, etc.
    • Appropriate behavior and float decorations are expected due to the family nature of this event.
    • NO comsumption of alcoholic beverages or possession of alcoholic containers by participants during the parade. Those failing to comply will be subject to arrest.

    All entries are subject to review and approval. The Parade Coordinator reserves the right to deny, limit, or condition entries, consistent with applicable law.
