The Province of Alberta has issued new Enhanced Public Health Measures. Most of these measures are effective November 24, some become effective on other dates, as described. Please note, that when viewing the new measures on the province's website, the Town of Black Diamond (as part of Foothills County) is included in the Calgary area measures. Those are the new measures that apply to us. A brief summary of the new measures has been provided below, including links to further details:
Gatherings: No indoor social gatherings in any setting, Outdoor gatherings max of 10
Wedding and funeral services: max of 10, no receptions permitted
No Festivals or events
Working from home should be considered, where possible
Restricted access to some businesses starting Nov. 27
Mandatory mask requirements for all indoor workplaces: this includes employees, visitors, delivery personnel and contractors. Exception: when working alone in an office or a safely distanced cubicle or where an appropriate barrier is in place. This does not change the current requirements for masks in schools.
