The 2021 Parade and Canada Day events will be cancelled for 2021 due to ongoing Chief Medical Officer of Health restrictions for Alberta's Public Health Response to COVID-19. 

Council has decided that until events can be held safely based on the provincial government guidance on outdoor events and festivals, large scale Town hosted events will be cancelled for the summer, which affects the Diamond Valley Parade on June 5, and the Canada Day/Diamond Music Festival on July 1.
