Supports for Community

Volunteerism
The Town of Black Diamond is very proud of the culture of volunteerism in our community. We all benefit by contributing to our community. Volunteering is a great way to make new friends, to develop new skills and abilities, attain valuable employment experience and to broaden one's perspective. It also improves quality of life and the health of communities. Volunteerism does make a difference. We do our best to connect volunteers with the right volunteering opportunities and enjoy recognizing and celebrating our volunteers and the value they add to our community.

Diamond Valley Community Garden
Individual raised garden plots are available to rent at the Community Garden. The gardens are fully-fenced and renters have access to tools in the shed. It is a great place to grow fresh vegetables and get to know others in the community. An annual Barbecue is held at the end of August. The Community Garden is located on the north side of Centre Avenue, just west of Rona.
